Coaching

My coaching process is a little different than a typical coaching session. It goes deeper and utilizes some superpower skillsets that I’ve been trained in over the years.

For one thing I’m a Jungian psychologist as well as a certified coach. That doesn’t mean we’ll be doing therapy sessions, but it does mean I’ve been trained to listen to what you’re saying, and also to what you’re not saying. I have one intuitive ear tuned towards the archetypal undercurrents that may be influencing your life and decision-making process. When you become aware of these archetypal undercurrents they can become powerful allies.

Together we’ll identify and explore these forces so that you can harness their energy to manifest your life purpose and reach your goals.

The second superpower is actually your superpower. It’s your body. Sometimes the body knows best. Your body has its own inherent wisdom, and when we bring your body into the coaching conversation by engaging with the sensations, movement, images, and stories that are held there, you can move beyond the predictable assumptions, the stuck places where your mind hits a brick wall. A simple step from one space to another can open up a whole new perspective and insight. I’ll tell you a secret that not many people know—the body never lies. It’s your unique instrument to tune into your goals in an intuitive and yet grounded way.

I’m a well-seasoned meditation practitioner and teacher with over 30 years of experience in various meditation modalities. I hold space for you to talk about your deep experiences and insights, perhaps things you feel you can’t discuss with others. Together we’ll build ways to integrate those insights into your everyday life so you live with passion, purpose, and vitality. However you define your spirituality, I will help you tend to it so that it has power and presence in your life, and is a contagious force for good in the world.

The impacts of our coaching will be greater the deeper we go, so generally I suggest a 6-month commitment to the coaching process. You’re worth it!

— RYAN (Nevada City, CA)

“One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and
began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting their bad advice —
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
”Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and
deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do—
determined to save
the only life that you could
save.”
